05/12/1936 - Hawker Hart

On the 5th December 1936 a Hawker Hart flown by a Flying Officer Peter Stanley Salter the assistant adjutant and Chief Flying Instructor of No 611 squadron force landed at Kingsley with engine failure, the pilot was uninjured and the aircraft undamaged.
